About Chip In
Hi my name is Arielle Reiser and I'm founder of the Chip In project. The Chip In project is a non-profit organization started in Mercer, Pennsylvania in 2012 when I was 10 years old. Chip in stands for
Contribute Household Items for People INeed.
Chip In enables people like you and I, to put everyday items that clutter our kitchen, desk, bedroom, and bathroom drawers to good use.  Did you know that Food Pantries and Women's Shelters can use our hotel shampoos, lotions and toiletries?  Old costume jewelry, tissue packs and music cassette tapes make great Bingo prizes in the nursing homes?

I visit churches, rotary clubs, or any civic group that is interested in doing the project and give a presentation and pass out Chip In bags. Each bag has an item list inside. All u do is take ur bag home and fill it up with the items on the list. Then bring ur bag back to ur next church service or group meeting when u fill it up. Once you bring back ur donation I collect it and sort it so the items can be distributed to a school, shelter, active duty soldier, or nursing home that can put our items to good use. Its that easy.

Through the years Chip In has helped many people in need. Such an easy thing...yields such great results.  Click on the Partners Tab to see how.
